Are you accepting new clients?

Yes! However, space is limited, so please be flexible when scheduling appointments.
Also, if you plan to use
insurance, be advised that not all clinicians are contracted with each insurance company. Seeing an out-of-network clinician may result in higher copays. Consider seeing an Intern Therapist at a discounted rate.

What is the cost of services?

Initial Appointment (approx. 60 min) - $127

Standard Session (Individual/Couple/Family Therapy 45-50 min) - $85

Extended Standard Session (60+ min) - $106

Psychological Testing - $125/hr (call for details)

Foot Zoning - $60 per 2-hour session

Therapy Session (45-50 min) with Graduate Level Intern - $30

How early should I come for my first appointment?

You should arrive at our office at least 30 minutes before your first appointment to fill out paperwork, verify coverage, etc. If this isn't possible, we encourage you to print and complete our New Patient Intake Packet before your first appointment. Failure to fill out intake paperwork before your appointment start time may result in a shortened visit or, in some cases, rescheduling of your appointment.

Do you take my insurance?
We are happy to bill private insurance companies and Medicaid. However, not all therapists are contracted with each insurance company. As always, we encourage you to be informed of your coverage and call the number on the back of your card to find out which therapists are in your network. Click
here to find out more about our payment options.

*Sessions with Intern Therapists and Foot Zoning are not billable to insurance.

What options do you offer for low-income families?

Please see our Discounted Services page for service options at a lower rate than standard therapy.

Many of our providers are also contracted with Idaho Medicaid. Contact the Idaho Dept of Health & Welfare to apply.

What is your policy for Psychological Testing?

Update: We are no longer accepting psychological testing referrals until further notice. We apologize for the inconvenience. Feel free to call our office for a list of other resources.

Patients in need of psychological testing must have a referral form filled out by a referring clinician. This can be a physician or another therapist; if you do not have a referring clinician, we will schedule you for a one-time appointment with one of our therapists to complete the referral process. With a completed referral, we know which tests to administer, how long it will take, and can contact your insurance company for pre-authorization if necessary. Be advised, all testing appointments require a $500 deposit before service regardless of insurance coverage (unless pre-approved by a government-sponsored program). Any overpayment after insurance reimbursement will be immediately refunded to the client.

What is your therapeutic approach to Same-Sex Attraction?

Centerpoint Counseling Services does not practice "conversion therapy" or "reparative therapy" (therapy approaches with the intent to change sexual orientation). Instead, we practice therapy that sensitively explores the interaction between a client's same gender attraction and their personal religious/moral values. We advocate the health and well-being of all individuals, but we do not impose any values or dictate a course of action.

Do you provide Emotional Support Animal recommendations?

While we don't offer Emotional Support Animal recommendations, we do offer many therapy options to help with symptoms of anxiety and depression. All of our therapists are extensively trained to help provide the support you need.
